The library is a learning environment catering for all students at Wheelers Hill Secondary College.

The key goal of the library is to promote literacy skills amongst our students. In the modern world the meaning of literacy has expanded beyond the ability to read and write. Our students need to be familiar with different types of resources and delivery systems and be able to understand, interpret and communicate the material they read, view and hear. Literate students understand how to transform raw information into personal knowledge. Experienced library staff are at hand to assist students with their assignment work and help them navigate their way through the information maze.

The library maintains a digital video system known as Clickview, posts electronic resources to the school intranet, maintains a reference collection, an audio book collection as well as supporting recreational reading. The library values its patrons, promotes social networking amongst its users and encourages students on the pathway to independent learning.
